Bromo Ijen Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Pick Up Probolinggo – Transfer to Bromo

Our team from Pepe Java Tours will pick you up from Probolinggo Train Station and transfer directly to the Bromo area.

The journey takes around 1 hour by private car. You may stop for lunch on the way before arriving at your hotel near Mount Bromo.

Accommodation

Stay at Cafe Lava Hotel if available or similar standard hotel near Mount Bromo.

Enjoy the cool mountain atmosphere and rest before the sunrise tour.

Day 2 – Bromo Sunrise Tour – Transfer to Ijen

03:30 AM – Jeep Tour to Bromo Viewpoint

Start the Bromo Sunrise Tour using a private 4WD jeep to Penanjakan Viewpoint at 2,700 meters above sea level.

Prepare warm clothes because the temperature can reach 5°C before sunrise.

After sunrise, continue by jeep across the Sea of Sand and hike to the crater rim of Mount Bromo.

Breakfast and short rest at hotel.

10:00 AM – Transfer to Ijen Area

Continue the overland trip to Banyuwangi/Ijen area with approximately 6 hours drive.

Accommodation

Stay at Ijen View Hotel or similar class hotel near Ijen Crater.

Free program and rest before midnight trekking.

Day 3 – Ijen Blue Flame Tour – Transfer to Bali

12:00 AM – Departure to Ijen Crater

Drive approximately 2 hours to Paltuding, the entrance gate of Ijen Crater.

Breakfast box provided before trekking.

02:00 AM – Start Trekking Ijen

Hike around 3 km to the summit of Ijen Crater at 2,386 meters above sea level.
