📅 Itinerary Overview

Day 1: Yogyakarta to Bromo (8–9 Hours Drive)

• Pick-up from hotel/airport/train station in Yogyakarta at 07:00 AM

• Long scenic drive to Bromo (stop anytime for meals or rest)

• Check-in at Café Lava Hotel (or similar accommodation near Bromo)

• Free program upon arrival — optional sunset walk near the hotel if arriving before dark

• Overnight in Bromo

Day 2: Bromo Sunrise Tour – Tumpak Sewu Waterfall

• 03:30 AM: Jeep pickup from hotel for sunrise tour

• Visit Penanjakan Viewpoint (2,700m) for panoramic sunrise views of Mount Bromo, Mount Batok & Mount Semeru

• Cross the Sea of Sand to reach the Bromo base

• Trek up 250 stairs to the Bromo crater rim (~1km walk)

• Visit the Hindu Temple and enjoy stunning volcanic landscape

• Return to hotel for breakfast and rest

• 11:00 AM: Check out and drive 3 hours to Tumpak Sewu

• Check-in at Yanto Homestay or similar

• Overnight in Tumpak Sewu area

Day 3: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall – Drive to Ijen (5 Hours)

• Breakfast at the homestay

• Guided Tumpak Sewu trek:

  • Visit Panoramic Viewpoint

  • Descend to base of the waterfall

  • Explore the nearby Gua Tetes cave (prepare for wet and slippery trails)

• Return to homestay, shower & rest

• Check-out by 12:00 PM, drive to Bondowoso/Ijen (~5 hours)

• Check-in at Ijen View Hotel (or similar class)

• Free program: relax by the pool or walk around Bondowoso town

• Overnight near Ijen

Day 4: Ijen Blue Flame Trek – Transfer to Ubud, Bali

• 00:00 AM: Early check-out from hotel, breakfast box provided

• 2-hour drive to Ijen Crater Basecamp

• Begin Blue Fire Trek at 2:00 AM

  • 3 km hike (approx. 1 hour) to summit (2,386m)

  • Optional descent into crater to witness Ijen’s Blue Flames (guided, masks provided)

• Sunrise at Ijen, panoramic views of the sulfur lake and active miners

• Return to basecamp, enjoy your packed breakfast

• Optional short visit: coffee plantation & Jagir Waterfall (if open)

• Drive to Ketapang Ferry Port, cross to Gilimanuk, Bali (1 hour)

• Pick-up by Bali team and continue private transfer to Ubud (4 hours)

• Tour ends upon arrival at your hotel in Ubud
