🗓️ Day 1: Pick-up in Surabaya – Drive to Mount Bromo

Welcome to East Java! Your private Bromo Ijen Tour begins with a pickup from Surabaya (airport, hotel, or train station). For a smooth experience, we recommend arriving in the morning or by midnight at the latest.

Pickup details:

• Private air-conditioned vehicle (Toyota Avanza/Xenia)

• Flexible pickup time based on your arrival

• Optional pick up from your hotel stay in Surabaya for early arrivals

🚗 Transfer to Bromo (Approx. 3 Hours)

We’ll drive to Mount Bromo via the toll road to high way SURABAYA - PROBOLINGGO for comfort and speed. Along the way, we can stop for:

• Lunch/Dinner (excluded, but we can recommend clean, local restaurants )

• Toilet breaks or photo stops

Hotel Check-in:
Stay at Café Lava Hotel or Parama Bromo Hotel (subject to availability). After check-in, enjoy a free program — explore Cemoro Lawang village or catch a sunset near Cemara Indah Hotel by walk  arriving before dark.

🛏️ Overnight in Bromo

🌄 Day 2: Bromo Sunrise Tour – Mount Bromo Hike – Drive to Ijen

🕓 03:00 AM – Jeep Pickup for Sunrise Tour

• Depart to Penanjakan Viewpoint for Mount Bromo sunrise.

• Optional sunrise points: Kingkong Hill, Love Hill, or Seruni Point (less crowded)

• Bring a warm jacket (temperatures may drop to 5–8°C)

After sunrise, the jeep will take you across the Sea of Sand to the Mount Bromo hiking point.

🥾 Hike Mount Bromo Crater

• 1km walk + 250 stairs to the summit

• Optional horse rental available ( not included )

• Use a your own medical mask for protection from dust / volcanic gas

After the trek:

• Return to hotel

• Buffet breakfast at Café Lava

• Shower and rest

🚐 Drive to Ijen area: Approx. 6 hours

🔥 Day 3: Ijen Crater Tour – Drop-off in Bali

🕛 Tour Start Options:

• 00:00 AM: Blue fire + sunrise tour

• 01:00 AM: Sunrise + crater view

• 04:00 AM: Daylight crater hike only

🚙 2-hour drive to Ijen
🥾 3km trek to summit with local guide
Optional Blue Fire Hike: Descend to crater with gas mask and guide (not recommended for those with asthma/heart issues)

Is the Bromo Ijen tour difficult?

The Bromo hike is short and suitable for most. The Ijen hike is moderate — about 3km uphill. You can also hire a local trolley porter service at Ijen (optional, extra cost).

Is it cold at Bromo and Ijen?

Yes, expect temperatures between 5°C and 10°C. Bring a warm jacket. Rentals are available at both sites.

When is the best time to visit Bromo and Ijen?

May to September is the dry season. August is the most popular (high season).
