Bromo Ijen tour from Bali 3 days

DAY 1 – Transfer Bali to Banyuwangi (East Java)

Pick-up areas: Munduk, Ubud, Kuta, Canggu

• Pick-up from hotel between 08:00 – 11:00 AM
• Drive ~3 hours to Gilimanuk Port (private air-conditioned car)
• Ferry crossing to Java (no car crossing – bring all luggage)
• Arrival at Java side (Ketapang), meet new driver
• Drive ~25 minutes to Banyuwangi EL hotel

Accommodation:

• Stay at El Hotel Banyuwangi (Deluxe Room, 1 night)

Free time:

• Relax, swim, enjoy hotel facilities
• Nearby dining option: Bale Saji Restaurant (local, clean, affordable)

DAY 2 – Ijen Crater Tour + Transfer to Bromo

• Early wake-up & breakfast box, Check out
• Depart at 01:00 AM for Kawah Ijen
• ~1 hour drive to Paltuding basecamp

Trekking details:

• 3 km hike (~1 hour) to crater rim
• Activities:
  • Sunrise viewing
  • Ijen crater lake
  • Volcanic landscape
  • Sulfur mining activity
  • Coffee break & breakfast

⚠️ Note: Blue fire access is currently closed due to volcanic gas conditions.

After Ijen:

• Visit hot springs & coffee plantation (optional/free stop)
• Drive ~5.5 hours to Bromo area

Evening:

• Free program
• Optional short walk to see sunset

DAY 3 – Mount Bromo Sunrise Tour & Return to Bali

• Start at 03:30 AM by jeep
• Drive to Penanjakan Viewpoint (~2700m)

Activities:

• Sunrise over Mount Bromo
• Views of Mount Semeru
• Jeep ride across sea of sand
• Walk/climb to Bromo crater
• Visit Hindu temple (Pura Luhur Poten)
• View Mount Batok

After tour:

• Return to hotel, breakfast, rest
• Check-out at 10:00 AM
• Drive ~6 hours to Ketapang Port
• Ferry to Bali (~1 hour)
• Drive ~3 hours back to your hotel (Munduk / Bali area)
