🗓️ ITINERARY

DAY 1: Pick-Up from Surabaya – Transfer to Mount Bromo

• Pick-up at Surabaya Airport or hotel upon arrival (flexible time)

• 4-hour drive to Mount Bromo area with stops for lunch or coffee along the way

• Check-in at Café Lava  / GUBUK NDESO / PESONA BROMO (based on availability)

• Free program:

  • Walk to nearby viewpoint to enjoy sunset over Mount Batok (if arriving before dark)

  • Relax and rest for the early morning tour

• Overnight stay near Bromo

DAY 2: Bromo Sunrise Tour – Transfer to Tumpak Sewu

• 03:30 AM: Pick-up by 4WD Jeep for Bromo Sunrise Tour

• 1.5-hour drive to Penanjakan Viewpoint (2,700m)

  • Tip: Take a photo of your jeep plate number to help identify it afterward

• Watch sunrise over Mount Bromo, Mount Semeru, and surrounding landscape

• Continue to the Sea of Sand by jeep

• Trek ~1 km + 250 stairs to Bromo Crater Rim

  • See the active crater, Mount Batok, Hindu temple, and sweeping views

• Return to hotel for breakfast

• 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Check-out and continue to Tumpak Sewu (3-hour drive)

  • Stop along the way for lunch

• Check-in at Yanto Homestay (Tumpak Sewu Cottage)

DAY 3: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall – Transfer to Ijen Area

• 07:00 AM: Breakfast at homestay

• Trekking tour with local guide:

  • Visit Tumpak Sewu Waterfall viewpoint

  • Trek down to waterfall base (expect to get wet)

  • Visit Goa Tetes cave

• Return to homestay for a shower and rest

• 12:00 PM: Check-out and drive to Ijen area (Bondowoso) – approx. 5 hours

• Check-in at Ijen View Hotel or similar (swimming pool available)

• Free program: Relax by the pool or explore Bondowoso town

• Overnight stay near Ijen Crater

DAY 4: Ijen Blue Flame Tour – Ferry to Bali – Drop Off in Ubud

• 00:00 AM (Midnight): Check-out and drive to Paltuding Basecamp (2-hour drive)

• Light breakfast box provided

• 2:00 AM: Start 3 km hike (~1 hour) to Ijen Summit (2,386m)

• Experience:

  • The Blue Flame phenomenon (visible only before sunrise)

  • Stunning crater lake, sulfur miners, and sunrise view

• Descend and return to car

  • Coffee plantation

  • Jagir Waterfall (quick photo stop)
